Gabrielle Sales's Portfolio and All Things Creative
Why do I enjoy doing what I do?
I knew I wanted to get into this type of work since I was very young. I was always fascinated with all things digital and coming up with things whether it's the way something is designed, the way something sounds, or the way something works. I love brainstorming and making sure things go smoothly to help businesses be in the right path to grow. I thrive from creativity and solutions to help companies or other people's ideas be in tuned with mine.
An adventure storyteller + writer
Aside from being a marketing specialist, I've begun to be very passionate about the outdoors and the surrounding wonders that makes our Earth a unique and magical place, especially recognizing this path since moving out west. I'm an outdoors lover and a frequent hiker and often make content and guides of exploring mountain trails, national parks, and other hidden gem places. I write weekly for my own adventure travel blog and I contribute when I can in freelance writing about the topic. I've completed the 52 Hike Challenge in 2020 and became an ambassador for Hike Like A Woman for 2019-2020. My photos and being a social media content creator has been featured on National Park Geek, Outside Magazine, 52 Hike Challenge, and more.
What's one of the most important parts about having guests over your house? Being able to come up with engaging or fun things that your guests would love to do when you host house parties. If you baked the best cake in your party, you should be able to convince even the most reluctant guests to try it.
If you want to have guests and gain relationships with your neighbors, connecting with them through visually and conversationally is the way to go. Being active with them and keeping up with them to fit their needs when they are visiting is important.
You want to make sure you make the house look good for your guests and you would want to keep up those relationships and maintain them with your guests and neighbors. Prove to them as a host that you have something to showcase for and to keep them on their toes whenever they come on over.
Think of your website as a home for yourself. I think of it like that. You need to be able to have a blueprint then get to building its foundation, build the walls, put a roof over it, design the interior and have a warming party each day to invite guests over to make them feel comfortable and wanted.
This is where the interior design comes in. I always think of this as being able to put convenient and aesthetically pleasing furniture in the rooms. I like to also make sure the house isn't looking all crazy and having furniture that have a purpose for these rooms.
This is the part where I look over everything and make sure the place has the perfect touches to it. This is also the time when I see how everyone (my guests) is doing, making sure my home is guaranteed to make them feel very welcomed.
