Web Design and Development
Being able to help with a business’s website is a huge thing. It’s the number one thing that people will look at if they want to look more into a business’s services. It’s also a way to provide further information and it is considered one of the best marketing materials to have.
BGCM! (Because God Chose Me!) Community Center & Sportsplex, is a 501c3 nonprofit academic, arts, and athletic center for youth and families. I worked with my former co-worker Pooja to give the non-profit company a facelift on their website. This is my adventure travel blog called From One Girl to One World. Petra Cephas is a mortgage business that has helped hundreds of clients year-round get the best home mortgage lending possible. They offer an array of options that suit the needs of all their clients. They have a network of lenders that offer access to loans ranging from Conventional, FHA, USDA, and many more. Petra Cephas assists with residential financing for primary residences, second homes, and investment properties. As the former Marketing Coordinator of Petra Cephas, I was assigned to give the company a facelift on its website, which I have designed in full and wrote up most of the website content. The Witches’ Place is an e-commerce website that specializes in psychic services (like tarot card reading and crystal healing) and sells handmade stone jewelry and herbal products. The site is based on a store in person. I coordinated the colors on the website (royal purple, aqua, dark yellow, white), created all the graphics you see, arranged the layouts of the pages, and did all the content writing for the whole website including the ‘About’ pages and the product descriptions. Jewel Sales Art is an e-commerce website for the artist Jewel Sales (my sister). She creates paintings based on body positivity, feminism, elements of nature, the community of queer and POC using water colors and more. She also creates other art installations like her original “Recycle Upcycle” wall decor, ceramics, and other projects surrounding DIY concepts. I curated and created the whole website and even contribute as a ghostwriter for her blog posts. This is the rebrand of Jewel Sales Art. This was the portfolio site I had before! I coordinated the colors for my simple yet chic and fun layout to make this portfolio website fit me! I also added some additional coding to innovate the site’s layout. To me, my site shows a professional side as well as a warm vibrancy to it.
